ABOUT US >

Sometimes all it takes is a small seed of hope to break the cycle of homelessness. Through our “Meet Me at the Bridge” outreach, we serve meals, provide clothes, shoes, blankets and other resources to homeless people in our community.

Additionally, we go deeper into these communities, providing not only food and resources but helping others in their time of need. We work with people on an individual level because every story is different…reconnecting them with their family, providing them with opportunities, and helping them become productive members of society. We want people to know that it’s never too late to Start Over!

"This is a historic day in my life..."

I’ll never forget his parting words, "I’m going to tell people about this. I’m going to spread this like Johnny Appleseed spread them apple seeds!"

This is the story...I passed a man sitting by the interstate with his duffle bag, sleeping bag, and a cooler. I felt drawn to him-pulled over, got out and met Arthur. He was a gentle Native American from Arizona.

I invited him to have dinner. We shared a meal, talked about the origin of the universe, the earth, and mankind. It was amazing how God was opening the door for the gospel! I told him of God’s love for him and shared the the plan of salvation.

I asked him if I could pray with him, and he said, "I was just about to ask you if you would." Arthur tearfully surrendered his life to the Lord. After I prayed, Arthur said, "I’d like to try and pray." And did he ever! He said, "God, this is a historic day in my life. I will never forget it and I will thank the Good Lord until the day I die that David picked me up today." He said, "Lord, now I know that you love me and you will be with me 24/7 for the rest of my life." We hugged and rejoiced!

I’ll never forget his parting words, “I’m going to tell people about this. I’m going to spread this like Johnny Appleseed spread them apple seeds!"
